John Paulding School
John Paulding School houses Pre-Kindergarten, partnered with Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center, and Kindergarten students. Every classroom is led by a teacher and assistant teacher so that all students receive the attention they deserve. We take pride in our commitment to inclusivity and diversity by offering a range of programs, including special education and dual language classes. We also provide services such as speech and language therapy, reading support, and occupational or physical therapy.

There is something truly special about a school filled with our youngest learners. Every day at John Paulding is filled with curiosity, discovery, laughter, and growth. Whether children are making new friends, learning their first letters and numbers, or building confidence through play and exploration, each experience helps lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
As an educator in the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving students and families in many different roles. Throughout my career, I have learned that strong relationships are at the heart of every successful school. My goal is to ensure that every child feels welcomed, valued, and supported, and that every family knows they are an important partner in their child's education.
John Paulding is a place where children are encouraged to ask questions, celebrate their unique strengths, and develop the confidence to take on new challenges. Our dedicated teachers and staff create engaging, hands-on learning experiences while providing the care and support that help every child thrive. We are equally proud of our inclusive school community, where students of all backgrounds, abilities, and languages are embraced and supported.
I believe that the earliest school experiences should inspire a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Together, we will create a joyful, nurturing environment where every child feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to reach their full potential.
